Douglas College presented it’s year end awards last Thursday(March 24th).
Several Shuttlesport athletes won major awards including:
RuiLin Huang – Female Player of the Year
Stephanie Ko – Academic Athlete of the Year
Al Mawani – Coach of the Year
Melody Liang and Stephanie Ko were also presented with a special award to recognize their achievements over their Douglas College careers. Melody won a CCAA record 5 National titles. Stephanie won 4 CCAA National titles. RuiLin Huang was also honored for winning 3 CCAA National titles and 3 CCAA Female player of the year awards.
