Shuttlesport Elite Team member Alex Lim continued his fantastic season by winning the Under 19 Boy’s Singles and Mixed Doubles titles at the VRC Remembrance Day Tournament, a provincial ranking tournament. Alex was dominant in winning the singles event without dropping a game. The mixed doubles was a hard fought title for Alex and his partner. After winning a tense quarter and semi finals, Alex and partner defeated teammate and good friend Newman Lam and partner in the final. Allan Ng reached two finals in the Under 16 age group. Allan along with brother Bryan reached their third straight Under 16 Boy’s Doubles final. After playing their best match of the season the boys lost a close final to the #1 seeded team from Vancouver. The twins are improving every time out and look to build on this performance. Allan Ng and partner were also finalists in the Under 16 Mixed doubles event. In all it was a fantastic performance by ‘Team Shuttlesport’ as club members reached 8 finals!!!
